How do operators sign in?

Can I sign up myself?

No. Organizations are provisioned by the platform team so tenancy, branding, roles, and the sport modules you need are configured before your first event day. Ask for a walkthrough and we set it up with you.

What do officials need on the day?

A browser. Pads are web surfaces that install to the home screen as a PWA, so a referee can use a phone or tablet with no app store involved.

How long does onboarding take?

Provisioning is same-day. The work is your data — importing athletes, defining categories, and creating accounts for officials — which most organizations do over a few sessions before their first event.

Can two officials score the same bout?

Yes, by design. Red and blue corner pads are separate surfaces, and traditional Mardani runs four punch officials. Every join is authorised against the current assignment, so an unassigned account cannot score.

What happens if a device loses connection?

Match state lives on the server, not the pad. The pad reconnects and resyncs, and where Redis is configured the live layer restores bout snapshots after a restart — so the board is not rebuilt from someone's memory.

Can we run several mats at once?

That is the point of the control room: per-mat queues, a bout call that fans out to officials and athletes, and one wall showing every mat's state. Multi-mat is gated to the plan tiers that include it.

Can a score be corrected?

Yes, by authorised staff, and score reconcile compares board state against the database. Sensitive actions like official assignment changes are written to the organization's audit log.

Can the audience see a board without logging in?

Yes. Publish a public scoreboard slug at /public/scoreboard/[slug]. Staff views stay behind auth, and public routes are rate limited.

Does it work with OBS?

Add the overlay route as a browser source. It follows the live bout, so nobody retypes scores into the stream.

Can we put sponsors on the venue screen?

The TV wall carries your branding and sponsor slots, so the people funding the day are visible on the screen everyone is already watching.

Mardani and Traditional Mardani, a combat hub covering nine disciplines (boxing, MMA, kickboxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, judo, karate, taekwondo, BJJ), plus Kabaddi, Football, and Volleyball team boards.

Can you add our discipline?

Sometimes. If it maps onto an existing scoring family — round-based striking, grappling points, or team points — it is usually configuration. A genuinely new scoring model is development work and we will say so rather than promise it.

Do you handle brackets?

Single-elimination draws with seeding, advancing winners as results are recorded. Squads let a club enter a team, settle one fee, and generate the team fixtures.

How are plans enforced?

Each plan code maps to feature keys the API checks. Combat sports, team sports, control room, and multi-mat are gates — if a feature is not in your plan the request is refused rather than half-working.

What happens when a plan expires?

A short grace period, then login and authenticated APIs are blocked for that organization. Gates fail closed: if the check itself errors, access is denied rather than assumed.
